PRO ACHIEVE 2026: A Fast-Track Pathway to the RPA Designation

To address this gap, RPA Canada has introduced PRO ACHIEVE 2026, a focused, one-time fast-track pathway designed specifically for non-designated practitioners seeking to earn the Registered Professional Accountant (RPA) designation.
This program recognizes real-world experience and combines targeted education, professional development, and assessment to strengthen credibility and expand career opportunities. Participants benefit from a structured learning environment that enhances technical knowledge, professional judgment, and leadership capacity.
PRO ACHIEVE 2026 is designed for experienced practitioners who want a practical and efficient path to professional designation. The program offers strategic sessions across taxation, financial accounting, management accounting, advisory services, emerging technologies, and leadership. It also provides high-value networking opportunities with practitioners from across Canada.
By completing the program, participants move closer to earning a Made-in-Canada designation that delivers meaningful value to both practitioners and the small businesses they serve.
The PRO ACHIEVE 2026 program will take place June 3-6, 2026, at the University of Toronto Mississauga Campus, Maanjiwe Nendamowinan Building, 1535 Outer Cir, Mississauga, ON. The four-day intensive format combines focused learning sessions, collaborative workshops, and daily professional examination components.
The program features a distinguished group of presenters, including Michael Saniga, MBA, CPA, RPA; Dr. Taslima Nasreen, MFA, MBA, PhD, RPA; Dr. William Wei, MA, MBA, PhD, RPA; Umar Choudhry, CPA, LPA, RPA; and Bruce Manion, FCPA, FCMA. These professionals bring academic excellence, industry insight, and practical expertise to support participants advancing toward the RPA designation.
The curriculum is structured to provide comprehensive professional development:
Day 1 – Financial Accounting
Advanced reporting concepts, audit and review engagements, and integration workshops.
Day 2 – Taxation in Depth
SME tax planning, estate planning, succession strategies, and applied case discussions.
Day 3 – Management Accounting
Cost dynamics, planning and control, and data-driven decision making.
Day 4 – Emerging Technology & Practice Management
AI applications, data analytics, professional responsibility, and workflow modernization.
A Daily Mandatory Professional Examination (MPE) is conducted under formal exam conditions to reinforce learning outcomes.
PRO ACHIEVE 2026 also reflects a broader commitment to strengthening the accounting profession in Canada. Zubair Choudhry, President & CEO of RPA Canada, emphasized that the initiative aligns with commitments made to policymakers and business leaders.

PRO ACHIEVE 2026 includes application, assessment, exemptions (if applicable), review sessions, required courses, and four full in-person training days. Lunch and refreshments are provided. Early-bird pricing is available until April 30, 2026.
